Anyone with an older (looks like anything made between 2009 and 2012) Kindle e-reader may have missed this, the firmware needs to be updated by the 22nd of March otherwise there will be a loss of connectivity. This can be done over the air in most cases but from the 22 March the update will need to be applied via USB.
