It is as it is already in the UK & has been for years, except here it is 97 Octane not 98.

We've had. ultimate for many years also but it's the new formula ......for us at least

I agree. Has a higher octane rating and car seems to be smoother on it

Still not a patch on Shell V-Power!

Out here the Shell diesel pumps don't mention V-Power, only on the PULP.

V-Power in AUS is still 98 and it's not the best fuel IMO.  It's one of the last I'd pick. 

 

I'm a price driven fuel user (drive between 500-800km/week) and generally use Caltex Vortex98, followed by Mobil98, BP98 and whatever independant suppliers are in my area.  V-Power rarely gets a look in as it's about 3rd in "engine friendliness" behind Caltex & BP and generally the same over-inflated price as BP.

 

Very few people in Australia drink VB.  I don't even know anyone that drinks VB these days.

I was wondering what Shell's diesel additive is called.

VB .....you're in NSW so it's probably Tooheys of some sort.........all foreign owned now anyway

In Oz Shell diesel doesn't have the reputation that the U.K. seems to have.....I wonder why?.
