Bargain anyone?

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have seen that Euro Carparts now have a performance section, in that section they advertise a Forge Diverter valve for our cars for £105 which is a bit cheaper than I have seen them for anywhere else.

Add to that the following promo code TX15ZG which gives you 15% extra off its a bargain

There is no model number but I assume its either an 007 or 008

Ive not ordered mine yet, waiting for payday but could be a bargain.

Doesn't sound that cheap to me, unless inflation has passed me by. I think there is 20% off over easter weekend there as well but don't know if it applies to that section.

If I was you I'd save your money or get a different upgrade, forge dv isn't worth it imho

Oem one is better

Yes dont bother with one of these waste of money.

Oh really? I thought it was the way forward, the oem worth keeping for now then?

Yes. Keep it forever.

Spend it on something worthwhile!

I had a forge splitter valve on my vrs and my local VW AUDI specialist told me to get standard DV bk in straight away when car was getting maped! Says the standard 1 is so much better

A guy I spoke to at a reputable turbo refurbishment company once said to me 'most forge stuff is junk to be honest', and I think in this instance he is right. Junk may be a bit harsh, but pointless definitely.

Copy ones are just as effective, standard ones do have a tendency to perforate diaphragm but then they are £30. I have had a copy forge style on for 9 years and no problems, don't bother buying shims though as a couple of big washers work just as well
