grill wrap

Featured Replies

Hi, looking at getting my FL grill wrapped...

however, when it comes to diy etc I'm pretty useless at it..so I'll have to get it professionally done or if anyone local able to?..

is £65 expensive to get it wrapped by a company?..

I'm local to oxford area if anyone has the skill and time and wants to earn some pennies for doing it?..

I did mine in about an hour, start to finish. It cost £8 in total and really is easy if you take your time.

All you need is a scalpel, a hairdryer and a bit of patience.

Do stone chips show from underneath the wrap?

I'd still manage to F**k it up! I honestly would!!

Id rather pay someone...whether a fellow member, or garage to do it..

You're only risking £8 with the potential to save £50+. Just have a go mate its nowhere near as hard as you'd imagine.

Use plastidip to spray it mines held up well no chips after a year

I'm going to get it carbon effect wrapped. It's a black car so it'll be subtle and slightly different to all black..

I do want to get the grill pin striped.. A bit like the BMW stripes in the M series you sometimes see.. Just to add a flash of colour.

Yeah pin - striping does look good, seen a black octavia with the red and green pinstripes on the grille just below the vrs badge and it was a nice subtle touch
