Came across an offer for Toyo Proxes C1S 225/40R18 92Y at Halfords - currently 58.99 all in.

Ignoring the fact that its Halfords, has anyone any experience of this tyre?

I used to use the Proxes T1-R and T1-S. Found them to be quite soft and quick to wear.

The C1S isn't a performance tyre and isn't necessarily what I'd choose for a VRS.

I have had t1r's on a few previous cars.

Ignis sport

Mk3 golf

Arosa.

I personally love them and maybe it's due to the weight of the cars I have been driving but don't think they are quick to wear at all.

My mk2 vrs estate came on rainsport 3's so far they are great.
