anyone?

I'm not 100% but doesn't that trim require the windscreen off to take it off the glass. I think to fix it right the screen needs to be taken off and re-bonded, I just can't see a way of getting sealant in there past the trim without taking it off

I´m wondering If I could open up a small slit between the rubber trim and the red paint on the top.

I could use the end of a sealant tube to maybe put it in between and then it would maybe fix the leak?

Can pretty much guarantee that won't work. It's a windscreen off job.

Just do a windscreen claim on your insurance, it won't impact any no, won't cost much and will actually work unlike trying to pump some sealant in.

well I talked to a guy here in iceland who is working for a windscreen company and he told me to start to try add a PUR on the inside. He said they do It themselves.

I wen´t with the car there and they looked at it and saw that it had had a new windscreen fit on it maybe 6 years ago.  And the reason for the leaking is that the PUR is getting loose from the glass, so I bought some PUR from them and am going to try to add it from the inside.   I also got a cleaner and a primer with the PUR.   The guy told me to cut off the PUR where there is a leak and add the PUR there and also add PUR all the way across the screen.

Will I need to use this cleaner and primer product also or are they only added to the windscreen?

the products are:

dinitrol 520 and 530

and the PUR is dinitrol 501FC
