First post as a new member.

Currently driving an 11 year old Civic which has been faultless but work mileage is imminently about to increase to 17k a year so I'm in the market for a diesel.

After some research I'm looking at a 58 plate Octavia 1.9 Ambiente tdi pd (up for £5700), my only reservation is its only done 30k miles in its life which looks a very small amount for a diesel. Would that set alarm bells ringing for others on here?

What should I be looking for in something like this?

Any help/advice will be much appreciated.

The 1.9PD is a good engine with no DPF to worry about. It has done low mileage but if its got plenty of service history I don't see why it wouldn't be a good car if everything else stacks up.
