I have had Rapid 1.4 TSI DSG for 2 years and car and gearbox have been great.

Some problems still there to lesser degree of low speed road booming.

Now have 3 year old car with 40k miles (25K of mine)

 

Opportunity to change to Octavia 1.6 TDI DSG Aug 15 reg.

Any opinions or issues whats the good points over the Rapid????

Build quality, ride quality and space.

Engine won't be as sweet though and DSG/diesel interface a bit more clunky

I have a 1.6 octavia with the dsg gearbox done 10000 miles in it cannot fault the car the only thing I'll say is mine is a elegance with the 17 inch alloys the ride can be a bit harsh

It'll stil ride better than a rapid though.
