Did he say the TSI replaced the problematic TFSI, only problem I'm aware of with the TFSI is carbon build up. There's DV and PCV failures but they are ancillaries

Yeah.  I'm not really familiar with the TFSI or what differentiates it from the TSI. The TSI has it's own share of problems though, that's for sure!

Isn't TFSI just the name that Audi uses for same engine?
