You know when Skoda designed the Octavia....

did they at no point open the rear windows while on the move??

Just done a long journey with the dog in the boot, thought it was a bit warm for him so opened the back windows to give him a blast of air - I think I deafened him and burst his eardrums instead!!

I've been in loads of cars that do the exact same if you open the rear windows while driving.

I think if you also open the front one about 1/2 inch the noise isn't as bad, or open both rears

So have I but this is the worst I think! It's unbearable as apposed to just being a bit noisy.

Yeah it did get better with the fronts cracked open. Both rears open was just as bad I think.

Wind deflectors might be an option

It's alright, I'll just keep them closed!

It was just a light hearted moan/observation :)

Its the same in a fabia and an Alhambra too. Something to do with aerodynamics I expect.

You've got to open all 4

Let the ULF bass boom!

Wind defectors are a great and relatively cheap option for something like this. I got mine as I like having fresh air and don't like getting rained on. Well worth it for the 35 I think I paid. Think of the pooch!

All my cars have done the same, as already mentioned you just need to open one of the front windows a quarter of an inch, no biggie really.
