Boost problems

Featured Replies

Hi

I've searched the site for answers to my problems, and it seems others have such problems too, but it's mostly not for the car i am driving.

So i opening a new thread on this subject.

The car is a Skoda Superb TDI 130HK from 2002, the car is chipmoded to about 165HK

A few weks ago the turbo started to shutdown. Also during acceleration the turbo was very late to kick-in. And when getting to freeway speed the turbo simply shutsdown. If i restart the car the turbo runs again, but only for a short time.

The dealer have replaced the MAF, the Turbo Boost Sensor, and some other turbo valve, but it doesnt help.

The computer showed only the following error:

17964 P1556 035 - Turbo/Super charger Boost Sensor (A) circuit. Control limit not reached.

So we changed the turbo sensor, but it didnt help....

Any ideas ?

Regards, Lars Markussen

If anyone is curious (guess not) is the problem now solved.

The problem started right after a repair of my aircondition, and it proved that they pushed to one of the vacum tubes or whatever......

I am glad you got your problem sorted.
