Best purchase or PCH deals for new Superb?

Featured Replies

I'm about to jump out from the comfort of having a company car for the last 25 years, and since I need a decent well-equipped big diesel estate the Superb (2.0TDI 190 DSG L&K, petrol blue/cream?) looks like by far the best bet -- right now I have a Mercedes E300D SE hybrid estate, which tells you how much Skoda has advanced recently :-)

I've been looking through the forums and at both buy (e.g. newcardiscount) and lease/PCH deals -- I'm used to just paying a fixed amount (via BIK) every month and making everything else (maintenance, tyres...) somebody else's problem and don't particularly feel the need to own the car. It looks as if by the time I include all the costs of ownership over 3 years there isn't much difference, I guess the contract hire fleets get a massive discount when they buy the cars so even adding on their cut the cost can be comparable or cheaper than buying/running/selling your own.

Does anyone disagree, or have any suggestions for the best lease/PCH deals (3 years/15k/maintained) to compare to newcardiscount (who seem to be the favourite, unless anyone knows better...)?

Cheers

Tried Lings (but my eyes still hurt...), lots of bling and bluster (and broken links!) but found better PCH deals elsewhere -- best so far for 3+35 15k fully maintained is £415/month (15.8k/3 years) from Jet Vehicle Finance (via contracthireandleasing.com). Best purchase deal so far is £28500 from newcardiscount -- does anyone know what the estimated residual value is after 3 years?
