We have mostly wired PC's here but we have a wireless router for laptops etc. Had no problems with the wireless connection at all, we have a range of about 50-75m through walls and metal roller shutter doors.

Gave as huge problems when our network was peer to peer but now its on a slient server XP system its great.

Thats about 100 meters by 100 metres then , isn't it.

Is it spread on more than one floor or building?

Yes , absolutely no reason why you can't have wireless installed on a site of that size.

It would need a proper site survey to figure out how many access points you need to get complete coverage and roaming between them which you'll almost certainly have to pay for but it's money well spent.

Bear in mind that the bandwidth available for wireless users is limited , so I'd stick to a wired network for all the office users for better performance.

Security is obviously an issue , but there isn't anything too hard to do there to ensure you don't get unauthorised users helping themselves to your data.

This is the sort of thing we (my employers) do so if you have any more questions just ask

Ours is over 3 buildings, single storey with a small car park between them. Personally I'd go for wires for fixed users (who most likely need power and phone outlets anyway) and wireless for sales guys etc. that use laptops/PDA's
