I have a quick query hopefully someone can help with.

 

On the Maxidot display between the speedo and rev counter I permanently have the road we are on and a compass heading displayed at the top of the display.

 

I cant seem to find how to turn it off?

 

I have a Amundsen nav MIB2 and normal maxidot.

You just need to change the screen using the steering wheel or column buttons.

Sorry I mean its always there no matter what else I have showing

I dont think you can change this.

The N, NE, E symbol & road name (like A9 or M29) is always displayed at the top

You have the maxi dot set in sat-nav mode. Use the thumb wheel to change it to car data or something else....

Yep it doesn't matter what the maxidot is set to it always displays a compass heading.

Road name is only there when in nav mode.

The compass heading is always there. Is there any reason why you'd like to get rid of it?

No other reason other than it makes the display a bit fussy.
