MK3 Lowering

Featured Replies

Hi all, my car is a non VRS 2.0 TDI hatch on the normal suspension, I would like to get it lowered some amount to cover the big gaps in the wheel arches and give it a better feel, what's my best option and how much will it cost?

Loads of topics on this. Most of us gone down H&R springs route or eibachs. 40mm seems to be the norm which equates to about 25mm lower than the VRS because it is already 15mm lower than standard. No more than about 200 quid for springs. Both give better than VRS factory ride. Or the kW, H&R or vogtland coil overs are getting great reviews on the vw Audi forums. From about £650-1000

As above H&R is probably the cheapest option out if the lot.

I just bought a set of eibach pro springs from german ebay for £109 plus £12 quid postage.
