just had timing belt done on 2.0tdi cr

car had never failed to start beforehand

now it statrs from cold every time but it can happen within a mile or 100 miles.once switched off it wont restart

tried wiggling keys,etc

give it ten mins and it fires

it might fire straight up

theres no reason behind it

 

fault code p0016 comes up

it then wont start if you clear it

once started the car will run as far as you want,knock it off and back on it might fire up or not

let it cool and it will fire up

 

been to a very good specialist who says it will be a timing issue

 

forgot to say

the cam sensor has been changed

the reason the specialist didnt do the job was he had too much on at the time
