Vcds will read engine but no other modules

Featured Replies

As title, i have vcds lite and the vag kkl 409.1 cable, i am only able to read the enging module but says "no comunication from module" when i select any other modules.

Any ideas?

Im trying to activate a few options on my 2006 octavia vrs.

Any help and advice appreciated.

Thanks in advance

MkI or MkII, vcds lite only does OBDII on the MkII, due to the lack of CAN Bus.

You need full vcds to talk to can bus vehicles like the MkII.

I have VCDS and I'm not that far from you IIRC. I'd be happy to help.

As said, you need a CAN or MicroCan cable on a mk2 Octavia.

The older K-Line cables don't work.
