Which rear discs? 2005 140TD PDi Estate.

Featured Replies

Title says it all really.  I've finally got the right pads, but it's taken so long to find them that the discs need replacing.  SkodaParts list the wrong pads for my car (too small) so I expect them to list the wrong discs as well. Finally got pads the right size, but they came with the shim/clips for vented discs on an A3 rather than non-vented (too wide) so I re-used the clips.  However, one of the calipers had stuck, and the disc on that side is scored, so I need new discs.  I've re-used the part-worn pads from the non-scored disc on to the scored disc for now, so when I fit the discs (hopefully this week), I can fit them with the new pads.

Anyone any idea what discs I need?  BKD engine BTW.

Thanks.

I've just changed mine, Got them from ECP, They got various ones listed but a quick phone call to them confirmed the correct ones, I got Pagid discs/pads..

Have a look at the data sticker in the front of your service book or on your boy floor.

That should have the code for the rear brakes. One of them should correspond to the code on Ecp.

Thanks.  I'll check tomorrow at work, and get them ordered. :)  I think I've got the CII brakes, but I'll check.
