Currently I run a van on a commercial policy, and I'm changing (or planning) to a Skoda Yeti which clearly isn't a commercial vehicle. Can you quote for a policy which will cover me for business use in a car, and also use the previous no claims from the commercial policy?

 

I have my car insured with you at present, and the van was to be moved over to you when the policy finishes in November, but the change is going to be mid policy.

Hi, we may be able to mirror the bonus that you have on the existing car but we can't convert commercial bonus into personal bonus I'm afraid.

I have a car in mind but my current van insurance brokers are over twice the price I'm paying for the van, and also the car which you now cover instead of them.
