I have a Dec 1998 Skoda Felicia 1.3 MPI Please can any one tell me do I need a spring compressor to replace the rear shocks ?

i removed mine with spring compressors, but they were actually no use for the rears. im pretty sure you can but only for the rears.

Thanks for reply, the Haynes book says use compressors but we all know Mr Haynes can be wrong perhaps someone can enlighten me more.

me too i used but there was no tention at all, i could have removed them without compressors
