Why would you need anything else?

Featured Replies

Hi having drove 3 series BMW's And C class including the latest version. I can honestly say my new S3 190hp is streets ahead of the mentioned vehicles imho the only car that could compete with the S3 in terms of space, gadgets and comfort would be the S class the only issue would be spec for spec the merc would cost £75k plus!!! I actually can see me driving Skoda for a long time! What's other people's thoughts on their superbs vs other cars they have owned?

What I would add would be the BMW Comfort seats in place of the Skoda version. Apart from fuel consumption I am impressed with my 190.

Why would i need anything else---- quicker delivery would be nice......................

Funny I actually prefer the Skoda Seats! I actually don't rate BMW at all now I think the exteriors are nice and it ends there imho!!!

Airmatic suspension is in another league on the W205/S205, the new W205 is truly a great interior with the LED, upgraded real leather seats (maybe not the my first ipad stuck on the screen and clunky system) but the it does feel special.

The drive in the 3 series in 335 Msport trim takes a lot of beating but then we are not comparing like for like... but saying that a 320d does not lack power. The 3 series cabin is a nice place to be if spec'ed correctly.

Problem here is people are comparing the 3 or c class when really it should be the 5 or E.  (the new eclass is NICE.)

The S3, as much as i like mine, spec and feel of the car, it is still typical VAG, works perfect, looks good enough and ticks the boxes. (not as wild as some of the latests French or Jap stuff.)

£ per spec the S3 works.

Mondeo v Passat v Mazda 6 v Insigna v 508 v S3 ..... theres an easy winner there.

As an all rounder it is *excellent* I think. It is certainly comfortable enough (I find the seats excellent), spacious, stylish, smooth, quick enough, loads and loads of kit... I can see me owning it for a good while :)

520d is impressive but the RRP is painful, much better value as a cash buy ex demo or 1 owner. Also liked the Mazda 6, very nice interior when specced correctly, shame the body looks so japanese. Some people just can't stand the social ignominy of the skoda badge. Their loss.

Just imagine the waiting time if they did get over their Skoda badge problem..................
