TOYOTA HILUX MONSTER TRUCK FOR OCTAVIA VRS

Featured Replies

absolutely heartbreaking doing this but i have a baby on the way and i was diagnosed with crohns disease in december so i have to get rid of my truck that i have spent uncountable hours on and over £10000+ on. i dont have the energy, time or money to make it as unique as i wanted.

As you can tell i have modified the truck for offroad use but not had time to go offroading yet due to working 8-6 mon-saturday! i have done very light offroading but nothing you couldnt do in a standard truck so its not been abused at all! the truck was conpletely standard when i bought it.

i have only owned the truck for around 7 month, since then i have done the following:

*5inch rough country lift kit (£800)

*33inch cooper stt pro tyres and deep dish steels (£725)

*subaru bucket seats in the front

*new polybushed camber bolts (£150)

*new track rod ends and tie rod ends

*4 wheel alignment and tracking

*new exedy clutch (£250 fitted)

*extended land rover arches fabricated to fit (£120)

*new uj's on rear prop shaft

*arches cut out and welded and fibreglassed so the wheels dont catch when offroading and full locking

* air horns fitted

*2 led spotlights on the front bullbars

*just had oil, oil filter and air filter changed

*new diesel pipes underneath

*new front brake pads

*rear rollbars and front bullbars sprayed in black

*straight through exhaust to make it sound abit more aggressive to go with the looks

*had a heavy duty rear bumper made to high standards just needs brackets fabricating to fit

*aftermarket cd player fitted

*new slim cb radio fitted

*have 2 spare batteries

*led lights in the footwells

*new alternator

*sidesteps were already on the truck when bought but ive sprayed them black

*fully undersealed with old engine oil

*new transfer box mount (£80)

No doubt i have missed several things from the list but as you can tell ive poured my heart and soul into this truck, the amount of hours of labour spent on this truck is unbelievable, going to be gutted to get rid but its not practical for going out on long runs and parking in town and such when the little one arrives.

the truck has had a respray a couple years ago so is very good for an 18 year old truck but still far from perfect as it isnt a show car! it will need bits and bats doing as its a rolling project but nothing major just a few bits of touching up which i was planning to do but baby is due end of july and the boss of the house keeps giving me earfulls about it!

anyway if theres any questions im happy to answer, dont really know what im looking for as the truck is what i want but cant have, preferably a skoda octavia vrs estate for the family and the dog.

The truck will have 12 months mot as it is due next week.

thanks for looking guys

p.s i value the truck realistically between £6-£7k please do your research on them before telling me its not worth that! i bought the truck for £4200 before doing any work to it, they are only going up in value as the export keeps increasing, i work in a 4x4 breakers yard so please dont try your luck :)

And then copy the 'direct' link into img tags.

If your on a computer, click the little green imagine of a tree (i think :D) just above the texst box, thats for images, paste the URL in that.

or if your on a phone or other, type [ Img ] WWW.Blablabla [ / IMG ] without the spaces
