Search, a cross over - feedback

Hi all,

Seemed like the best place to quietly say this...

The new site is in progress, to bridge the issue around forum search not being great... also wanted something I could easily pull up when talking to people. The main site search is hidden behind logins etc...

So checkout a cross over search, it's nothing fancy, just a wrapper to google.

-- Points to note --

It's also testing out a few things.

You can save it as an app to your phone etc. ~ favicon/app manifest.

Should be fairly quick from anywhere in the world ;) ~ It's on a global CDN.

It's also open source https://github.com/BRISKODA/search ~ Where I can I'm opensourcing code for BRISKODA :)

The design is just a placeholder at the moment while I investigate  CSS framework changes.  ~ Muck about with colours some more 'yak shaving'

It only searches what google can crawl, so some forums won't be included and it's not up to the minute.

Based on feedback I'll 'style it' and promote it more :)

Anyway to add filters to the search?

safe to say it works :D

Will look at filters. It's currently being pushed to guests, seems to be working ;)

The inline google site ones should work. Although to be honest I normally only use site:www.example anyway then dinosaur my way through the results.
