I was thinking of fitting cruise control to my car due to the long distance trips that ive been doing over the last couple of years, can anybody tell me exactly what parts i would have to buy and how to fit it, i would be looking to get second hand parts. Can you tell me off parts off another vehicle would fit my car? by the way my car is 2005 Octavia mk2 2.0tdi 6 speed DSG. The stalk on the left of my steering wheel is for indicators and full beam.

sorry forgot to say the steering wheel on my car is a none function one just the air bag in the center no buttons.

You will need a stalk that's for certain. Possibly a steering column control unit too, possibly being 2005 a small amount of wiring.
