Is the general attendance at midweek track days similar to weekends or is it different (e.g. race car shakedowns etc)?

 

Any issues for a newb on Weekdays?

my first track day was at Snetterton on a Tuesday, my second track day was at Brands hatch on a Monday and both were fine. had a few clio cup cars flying about but could see them coming from a few corners back and had time to move out their way never done a weekend track day but as a newb I didn't struggle on a weekday

Cool. Several days at Blyton which are around £40 cheaper for a weekday so probably what I'll do as I'm not short of holiday days Just didn't want to end up at a race car test day or similar

I was at brands last Monday and I'd say over 50% of the cars there were fully fledged race cars with the rest mercedes AMG's and subaru and a couple of clio 182's

But I must say everyone was patient and waited until it was clear or signalled through....except one subaru who was black flagged when he over took me at the top of paddock hill bend

Personally I find the weekday ones better.

 

You are likely to get a few more focussed cars, but as not a "weekend jolly" the drivers are usually more experienced.

I loved brands hatch, was my 1st open garage track day and it blew my mind.

Waiting for something to pop up again but chickened out for Bedford cz of the sheer size of it. (Dno if car could do a full lap)

I've found a local sprint circuit @ Curborough which isn't to far away and gonna have a go at that in may. (Cheap too)

It's slightly different to a normal trackday with a bigger circuit, but its an excuse to have some fun with the car off the highway so I'm all for it.

Plus I'll be representing skodas there too.
