One to Avoid DE59 XBG

Featured Replies

I have been checking out Octavia estates for sale. A MoT history check on DE59 XBG which is currently being sold by a trader on Autotrader brings up interesting mileage details.

must have been driving in reverse for the last 50000 miles!

or could have had a new instrument cluster fitted - or the reading changed from KM to miles or vice versa

Could have been entered incorectly. Had this before on my wifes car.

Advert states:

"Mileage - 98,000 with Full Service History up to 94,000 miles"

MOT states:
11 January 2016 - 98,197 miles
3 February 2015 - 152,069 miles
7 February 2014 - 126,413 miles

and no aerial ;-)

Who's going to ask the trader what the crack is then????? :)

There's certainly something odd there with that mileage ... it be interesting to see the service history and when it's claimed 94,000 Mike service when its MOT history shows it at over124,000 miles in Feb 2014

Im going to phone them tomorrow and see what they say
