Dear All,would you please advise

When starting the engine the RPM gauge showing 1000 then after a while when temp gauge in the middle the RPM showing 750.till now every thing is OK.

The problem if I drive for a while like 30km then stopped at traffic the RPM goes crazy up and down from 1000 RPM to 250 very crazy then stalled.sometimes it never happen during the day!!!

The same Failure can be reproduced easily any time by turning on the A/C while engine Idle and temp gauge in the middle the RPM goes crazy and engine stalled.

My question is which part or parts to be (checked,cleaned or replaced?

I strongly suspect an air leak, either in the vacuum lines or at the manifold joint.

Struggling to find anywhere exactly what oil type my engine should be using. The owner manual says "ask a specialist garage for the correct engine oil", which is bizarre - can't the manufacturer of the vehicle just tell me! On a previous with a dealer, they put in "Edge Prof LL IV 0W-20". I've just had a service via the RAC today, and they gave me the remaining oil in the tub, and I've just noticed it's "0W-30" and also says "VW 504.00/507.00" specification. Skoda supurb 2014 RNS510 unit fitted 3T0035686H .HW version H21 . SW version 6270 Maps 8048 version 10 . Have a problem with start up screen skoda logo misaligned. Believe its a SSD version . Looking to do a SW flash with 6270 or 6276 but can't seem to find them anywhere , have maps version 17 on a disc but want to flash it first. Any help finding the required software would be appreciated willing to pay for it . Thanks in advance , Darren

Apologies of this is the wrong place to ask... please feel free to send me in the direction of anywhere more appropriate.. My '72 plate Mk IV is just coming up to 80k miles. I confess that all 5 of my previous Kodiaqs were AWD but I only realised recently that AWD is actually a bit of a misnomer. Drive to the rear axle is only engaged when the road surface requires it - mud, very wet road surface etc. The Haldex unit controls this engagement. In normal road conditions the car is driven by the front wheels only thus saving fuel. I accept that I may be in the minority here so I'd love to hear from others who were similarly misguided.

Kodiaq 2026 PHEV I set the lane control to 'Off', set the alert control to 'off', and various other settings that I want. But when I next switch the car on, all my settings are lost and I have to re-set them. This is a complete pain in the ass. How do I save the settings so that they stay set?
