Probably a silly question, but have the Monte wheels always been exactly the same size and fitment? I am buying another wheel for my 2014 Monte and its from a car a few years older. I assume that if its a 17" Monte wheel that it will be just the same? It is sold as being 7J X 17 ET41.

They have always been the same size to my knowledge.  Trinity Alloys.

 

Sometimes a wheel can be a slightly different weight over the production of them, but a really small difference.

I have early Gigaro that are slightly different from later ones i bought.

 

If you can and want to buying a pair can be a good idea to be sure of matching wheels on an axle.

But if buying a spare then never bother, and with the 'Trinity' you are highly likely fine that the 1 wheel will be identical to your others.

I have seen on some say late late models (64 plates) they came with the vrs alloy

No idea as to why,

Those are Gigaro (Black) as were fitted to Mk2 vRS and used on some later Monte Carlo as the Factory stopped building Mk2 vRS.

(& a some dealers did swap wheels, and there were cars that had Trinity wheels stolen from them.)

Thanks for that, I hoped that was the case. It is the Trinity I need and will just be for a spare.
