rear boot lock sensor. word of warning...

Featured Replies

Combi....

Word of warning.. More so for those without electric boot.. If you pop the lock for the tail gate on the key fob... (Ie so you can just lift the boot open without pressing the boot handle)

Then forget you did it as one of your kids side track you to put their bike helmet on you as they do........ ..

The internal maxi dot does not reconise the boot is open and the car locks as normal with confirmation indictor flash and your non the wiser......

On flat road at 20mph/ 30mph it does not trigger the boot is open until you pull out into fast traffic and give it some power.

At this stage the maxi will trigger and the sound of the boot flapping will get your attention.

Top tip. Don't be in control of the remote and a child.

Remote control of the child sounds like the option you should have ordered then.......
