Juddering/Poweflex Bush

Featured Replies

I've cured my juddereing issue and it only cost me £25.......ebay by candrenterprisespost-129887-0-06763500-1462204024_thumb.jpg

VW Golf MK5 GTI+R32 09 on Powerflex Lwr Eng Mount Insert Large Diesel PFF85-704R #370694933287.  Can't find the saved page but copy and paste this.

This pariticular Powerflex is for my 2009 FL so..do check numbers etc and they are colour coded from Red which is deisel and upto track etc. You can also give your Reg and that should be it.  This is for the bottom rear engine mount which now I know has a design fault hence why Powerflex make this little helper instead of thaking the car apart and at extra cost of you have access yourself to ramps etc for free.

Grease is supplied to aid it in and needs flat block to hammer it right up but also be aware the top mount start to move out so you really need stop that. But it's in and Ive driven it on some winding road and even on the one Power Flex the car feels better.

But.....there is hopefully some bedding time as there is now a very low deep noise and slight judder. Like an old Bus coming to the lights..

Isn't this the dog bone insert? If so then yes brilliant little upgrade. I was convinced my clutch was on its way out due to juddering on biting point. This stopped 90% of that!

I can't get two of the attachments to open mate, was there a problem uploading them?

Would this cure a warm idle shuddering?
