1.5TSI Improved Fuel Efficiency

Featured Replies

By now after decades of Engine Designing & Manufacturing they might have these ones right from the Off.

Keep the Oil & Coolant in, use less fuel & oil and emit less emissions and have a decent degree of longevity.

So now they just need to build them, test them their selves and not use paying customers as the road test dummies.

It is all positive for the Volkswagen Group if they can get on with these engines,

even though the other manufacturers are 1 step ahead and moving on to more up to date technology.

VW need to maybe get on and publicly admit to the failings in quite a lot of the Euro 5 1.4 TSI engines they designed and built

and received engine of the year awards even when some were having failures of greater than 10% of those built.

Maybe some Journalists could ask the New Heads of VW about the previous engines issues and how buyers were treated,

and if they will pick up on snagging problems quicker this time with 1.5 TSI engines and not play 3 Monkeys.
