There is no reason not to jump on such an idea, I have to space and funds, but IMO it's unsuitable for the roads about here and pebble dashing it with fresh/decaying tar&chipping roads would be too depressing :(

Perfect if space n funds are at the ready.

You dont need to ride it. Just look at it. Itll make you money doing nout. Better than having money in the bank.

Edit: and its in NI! Gotta be worth a punt

I am off work this week and Gumtree is killing me, not that many bikes about as normal and I am still after a nice ZZR1200 again, but keep getting tempted by this cage! :o Another car is the bloody last thing I need at moment though tbh.

Ive been in one with many Nismo extras. It looked nice, drove alright but the exhaust made it sound shockingly bad.

Tbh. For a cheap fun car, id have an MX5 or something.

But id have to become disabled in some way to give up bikes for that

There will be no giving up of bikes for the likes of that! When the right leg finally falls off I might consider it for a bit, but not a show stopper like the left might be!

Haaa i like that.

I would actually have a mk1 mx5 though. Rwd. Cheap, light and fun to drive.

Id never have admitted that a few years back hahaaa

I took an original SP1 demo out back in the day from GT motorcycles in Plymouth.

I found it too quiet and too cramped for me. Too quiet as in, I looked down at the digital clock and was well into the wrong side of 85mph and I had only shifted a couple of gears, it was effortless.

Probably very slow by today's standards :)

Yeah they're pretty much a road going race bike. thats why itd have to be a second bike for me :D.

Not exactly slow still. 130bhp i think they are? Its only the latest crop that are making 170-180bhp really.

Older bikes may appear slow on paper compared to modern ones but I still love my 955i speed triple with high carbon race pipe re map and dropped one tooth on front sprocket. Also my original1999 busy which is so effortless and more than enough poke for most riders and I'm almost 50 bloody 8 should know better by now ha ha

They are slower in the real world too, but theyre plenty fast enough!

I dont believe anybody can ride a bike like an R1 or S1000RR to its full potential on the road anyway. Theyre silly fast.

Ill be honest, i cant ride my Aprilia anything like as fast as it could go.

That's my self imposed justification for dropping down to the 636 from the bigger bikes i've had...... My old ZZR1400 was utterly brutal, but totally unsuitable for UK road use, especially with wanting to keep my licence! I do miss the bog grunt of a nice thousand or more, but at the same time, I can rev the 636 a lot higher and use more of what it has than I would have been able to on the bigger bikes on the road. It makes a nice sound and I do enjoy being able to fire it up through the gears and not be able to get into a foolish position as quickly. Still keep looking at Blades though :D:o

I dont blame you either mate!

Thats partially why i like V-twins tbh. You dont have to rev the nuts off them to get going, all the midrange torque n that. No building up to high revs like the IL4's, so i find it sort of better for the road.

However, in the same sentence i can see the other side. My mate just loves screaming his 600 everywhere and wont think about anything else haha.

The Z1000SX (although an IL4) was just smooth torque everywhere, it didn't have a gear indicator, but it's the only bike I would have liked one on! I never had a clue what gear I was in, didn't really matter that said for the normal touring side of things. I am more of an inline four person like your mate is, I mean it would be rude to not drop a cog or two before overtaking things. On the 600's it's mainly to turn up the volume like an angry wasp  :D

Yeah i like a good gear indicator. Not enough bikes come with em tbh haha.

Ah but i dont wanna arsing about going down the box.. i wanna open up n just go :D. Having said that, the Tuono is best above 7k rpm. It gets pretty mental above that, but i never shift down to get to it :D

There is plenty to get out of a nice wee 600, I enjoy having to work to get it though.

I thought, might as well cut it when I reached the NSL since at that moment, on approach to a long smooth sweeping bend I held that speed and went round it very upright like on a bicycle
