2001 Skoda fabia 6y cutting out

Featured Replies

My 1.4 mpi just cuts out randomly! It doesnt chug or make a noise i don't even notice most of the time till i go to take my foot of the clutch. Doesn't happen when im driving at high speed just really when im Turing corners at junctions and when i go to start it, it just dies and nearly floods when i start it again.

Had it scanned for fault codes?

Cheers ill look into it :)

I had encountered this kind of acting. G62 (coolant) sensor had failed. Basically the engine was starting right, but after a while, usually when idling, the engine was cutting out and dying just as you described.
