Yeah I noted he doesn't like leather seats but that's a personal and subjective thing. Personally I like leather seats - especially when they are heated and ventilated..... :p

 

That aside, the reviews are generally very good. He has also done a 3 way test against a Passat and a Mazda 6, worth a watch.

Personally I love leather seats.

The real leather seats are a big issue for him.  Doesn't bother me personally but I take his point and still enjoy his reviews a lot.  Was just watching one of his videos earlier and he really wasn't impressed with proper leather being used.  He usually encourages people to look at Alcantara instead.  A full leather interior is the only way to go in a Superb.  My only issue is the fact that beige seems to be disappearing fast in the Superb and will be a deal breaker for me next time if I cant have it....

I think I've seen at least 4 reviews from Thomas of Autogefuehl about the Superb, all very positive, he obviously likes it. I don't want to get into stereotypes but his reviews are quirky and typically Germanic, very informative and detailed, probably the best car reviews on YouTube. I think he's a frustrated designer at heart, he makes a lot of comments about the style, design and aesthetics of a car when he's reviewing them.

As for Clarkson underneath the bluster he likes the car but of course he would never directly just come out and say that.

I like the review of the combi by the German chap on Ausfahrt TV, Very comprehensive and talks about things like noise levels, which few reviewers bother with but which is a huge issue in my book. I'd like to find some more of his reviews including the Mondeo, as I'm looking around at the moment

 

I agree, I think both the reviewers do a really good and thorough job of reviewing the cars and they're genuinely helpful reviews too.

I ordered my S3 after watching those two reviews on YouTube.
