I'd try starting it with MAF unplugged, & also try the same with the Coolant temp sensor.

When were the air & fuel filters last changed?

Maf is Bosch 57i kit cleaned 2000 km ago. Maf unplugged makes no difference fuel and oil filter 2 months old walbro pump just in a year. Cat is a hi flow into a 2.5 single box setup. Stage 1, forge tip samco boost hoses and a cold side dump relocation. Genuinely stuck scratching my head

Had it scanned twice with a Delphi diagnosis system. Going to have it towed to my mechanic on Friday as at this stage it's frustrating me. He has vag com but faults coming up are for low voltage when I removed the battery and headlight levelers low current.

You can't just rely on fault codes for some of the VAG engine sensors. CTS & MAF in particular are notorious for failing without throwing codes. You really have to use VCDS/Vagcom engine measuring blocks for proper diagnosis.
