USB not being detected?

Featured Replies

So I've been using android auto happily for a while until about the last two weeks, my car is not picking up that a USB is being connected, any suggestions? I heard it may be android itself, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem.

Could it be the unit itself? I've tried another cable but no cigar.

Any leads would be helpful, thanks :)

*SOLVED* turns out that after getting some connector cleaner the USB is working again.

Please delete this thread and I'm going back to enjoy using android auto

Actually it's handy to know,so thanks.

Was the contact that needed cleaning on the car or the android unit that was plugged into the car?
