went to the dealers about the car today!!!

Featured Replies

well a visit to the dealers makes your day ;-) probably spoke to one of the most ignorant and patronising people i have ever had the misfortune to ever meet. (sales and customer service manage-thats the biggest joke ive ever heard):finger: Now if Parks of Hamilton dealers think i will get another car serviced there they must be very misguided. its now at the point i doubt i will buy another skoda as im not dealing with that dealer:thumbdwn: . others are a fair journey away but will use them from now on i thing

*steam* from my ears can be seen for miles.

i did stay calm but when i said about the intermitant fault with the knocking suspension he replied saying that if its intermitant means there is NO fault! and they couldnt find anything. what just because they cant find anything means there is nothing wrong?

also started every car rattles and just to ignore it! its down to the cars stiff suspension he says and offered to take me out in an "expensive" car to show me it rattles too. is this guy on a different planet or is it me?

Then he said that most times there was no work done to the car when it was in, only because they cant find the problem with it!

what about the 3 possible 4 different door leaks? faulty stereo, Rust on the back panel, central locking failure, groaning breaks etc.

he ended the conversation by saying thats what warranties are for! yeah because thats what our time is for, wasting at a damn skoda garage!

What's wrong with these people? How do they get these positions of responsibility?

Gotta say, since buying the car brand new in August, I've been totally disappointed with the local dealerships (i've already been to two). Skoda Customer Care were, on the otherhand excellent when I spoke to them on the phone.

I'd write to Skoda Customer Services and explain that the local dealership are C*ap and the Bloke you spoke to is a complete to**er  and should 'nt be selling Skoda's. Name and Shame........................

Can we orgonise a " Group Visit " :D

sounds like a right muppet, my local dealer is certainly nothing like that, me thinks i might pop in to park's in hamilton when im up in january and see if i can winde your man up abit...

If a £12k car is a 'cheap' car, then he won't mind giving you £12k out of the petty cash to allow you to buy another...
