Hi all

 

I've recently fitted LED bulbs to the main beam of the vRS, which are now throwing an error

 

The dash light illuminates as soon as the ignition comes on and after the "Fasten seatbelt" message disappears the "Left/Right main beam defective" message appears

 

The messages disappear soon afterwards and do not come back on when you actually use the main beam or flash

 

This makes me think it's the cold start diagnostics that don't like the LED drivers

 

My VCDS isn't running on the new laptop yet but I'm wondering if there's a way of disabling the CSD for main beam?

Should add that I've tried fitting load resistors in parallel to the LEDs and the situation is exactly the same...
