Hi, anyone know where I can get hold of a spare wheel kit?  The foam bit in the boot, jack etc?

 

Don't really trust the puncture kit that's in there now.

 

The only there option is run flats.  Has anyone used runlets on an Octavia vRS?  I've got a 2010 one.

I went on eBay found a local brand new aftermarket alloy wheel for £20

Stuck on a cheap part worn £15 fitted

Got a second hand jack and wheel nut spanner thingy (the word has gone) off a Passat for £10 off gumtree

Sorted

The other option is a tin of Holts tyreweld for under £10. That's what I've got stored in the spare wheel cavity, along with a variety of other paraphernalia.  Admittedly, it is not the same level of re-assurance as a full spare or even a space saver.
