Although I have just signed up to this site I am not new to Skoda's. I have Mk1, mk2,mk3 Octavia estates in fact only got a few more weeks in my Octavia mk3 as I've ordered another Skoda!

I expecting a Superb 220 tsi, very soon so getting excited.

All my Octavias were manual diesel but my wife does lots of running errands short trips so was concerned about developing dpf issues hence the switch to petrol.

My wife isn't technically minded so she is worried about dsg etc!

I like changing gear so I have opted for the paddles!

Not long to wait now!

Octy 2 1.4TSI ESTATE CAXA Quite uncertain where to enter this question. The keyfob#1 has started to cause serious problems with the car alarm system. So far keyfob#2 is working with no problem. Car alarm starting randomly and only disconnecting the battery helped. Yesterday the alarm kept sounding/flashing even when the engine was running - undrivable. Is there a home cure whereby I can remap/reset the key fob? My very helpful auto sparks is unable to help

I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration. I have done an Upgrade in mine and in the future i will make another one modification so let's take everything from the beginning. Note: Some photos are from internet

Another day, another reverse camera and I’m very proud to say that I can confirm the reverse camera can be fitted to the 2020 model year Facelift Superb. The camera fitting on these is a bit different with the new rear plinth but that actually makes it easier to fit. I am super pleased I could confirm this works on the FL Superb. Additionally, as this car is an SE-L with the A5 camera as standard for Dynamic Light Assist, I was able to code Lane Assist for the owner, a £535 option fr

Hello everyone I decided to update my 2014 Skoda Octavia to a newer age. First changed the MIB1 to MIB2, and then decided to add a rear view camera (there are other projects on the way like MFK1 to MFK2). I want to tell the story so someone else does not make the same mistakes I did. Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that.
