Key

Featured Replies

The buttons on my key fob need to be pressed harder recently to open / close the car. Can I just buy a new case from the dealers and transfer the internals from mine?

Also I like the look of the MK3 key. Are these an easy swop?

I'm assuming you mean the remote locking function? :)

If the button mechanism is going wrong it's either the internal parts or the keypad itself

If it's the internals then swapping them into a new shell won't help

If it's the keypad then you can get replacement pads, I bought some because mine were looking tat and they're a very good fit and finish, look totally OEM:
