Had my Octavia VRS 220 TSI DSG a week now and done a grand total of 140 miles in it mainly in economic mode as I travel into the city everyday to work and back so traffic is pretty heavy at the times I start and finish work.

Anyway it was a bit quieter on my way home this morning (I work nights permanently) so I thought I would have a play with the paddles and wind her up a little.

Wow the ride home felt very impressive and in all honesty felt every much as quick as my old Audi S5 4.2 V8. I am very impressed with everything about the car but I haven't been into the settings to try and dial anything in yet as I ain't good with technology but what I will say is the factory settings feel good to me so far.

All in all I am loving the car so far as it puts a smile on my face just looking at it.

Go quite well, don't they Jonesy 

 

Mine's at 5,700 miles now and is loosening up quite nicely.
