i have been looking around for a new window motor to fit on my car and have found that while the number

 

6Y 2959802 is on most motors the other numbers are slightly different eg my motor number is MR6400879D some other motors have various other letters on the end such

 

as MR6400879F

 

are these motors interchangeable ?

 

Do the numbers have to be identical can anyone help?

i've fitted different party numbers and they ave worked, you just need to check the plugs are the same i think.
