Eonon D5153ZE reversing camera problem

Featured Replies

Hi all I am new to Skoda and the forum so be gentle with me please.

I just bought a Yeti Elegance 2013, originally it was an ex-demo with all the bells and whistles, including front and rear parking sensors and also park assist. I fitted the above radio and reversing camera, I am sure I got the wiring ok.

the problem is, with the ignition on and put into reverse the camera works fine, however with the engine running you get a visual of the car with front and back sensors but no camera picture.

Has anyone had this problem and can anyone help. regards John

This might be better suited to the in car entertainment section.

Never the less - where did you take the cameras power source from? the reverse light circuit?

What James said - this particular sub section is for "how to" question with the briskoda forum rather than car related issues.

A mod might kindly relocate? :)

Did you wire into the starter ignition for a permanent live? As it sounds like once the engine fires up its no longer getting power from the perm live. That it works when on ignition live shows its working as the switch live from reverse is working..

Hi thanks I will move to the correct section. In response I have wired the camera to the actual bulb wiring circuit.

As in the reversing bulb wiring?

It needs to be wired to a constant 12v live feed. The bulb circuit works on PWM signals which turn on and off continuously, hence the interference.

You can use the boot power point if you have one or wire to the fuse box.
