Basically on Octys and fabias there were little oval badges that said spec of car... ur side markers looked like them... dont worry just me lol

I think they may be available with a manual as well but I've only ever driven a 2.5 with the auto box.

Can't comment on the clutch slip - yet!

Yeah I have looked at those wheels mate but the only problem with those is how common they are, don't get me wrong I have never seen a Superb with those rims on but they are on many other motors such as Golfs, Boras, Octavias, etc.

On the other side of the coin they are cheap!!

These wheels (RS6)suit it and they are easy to clean ......but failing that keep the solids

The plan is to keep the Solid's for the Winter and Autumm and then use the ASA's for Spring / Summer?

While the Solid's are off the car I will get them refurbished as I think it's well worth the money on a good looking wheel.

I think that would be a good idea -- I've seen some on a Passat -- when they are not on they look odd -- but when lit - especially sunrise/sunset when it's a bit iffy they make a big difference to the visibility of the car IMHO

On the plus side, they will be easy to clean. TBH, with that tyre profile, and the lowering, I bet that Passat is quite a harsh ride.

Don't like those at all. Not a fan on that whole 'Euro' look TBH.

If it were me, I'd leave the current ones where they are!

primey - The ride would be very harsh and to be honest mine is pretty harsh now so I am expecting a lot harder ride if I get bigger rims!!

Yep that's my neighbours B5 Passat, he hasn''t said much to be honest but I think he has told his Mrs he would like the Passat to look something like the Skoda, LOL!!
