Just jumped on the octavia vrs bandwagon and thought id join up and peruse, get some good hints and tips etc.

Got a mk2 on a 55 plate, decent history, very well looked after by the looks of it!

Only noticed a couple of minor issues so far, rear wiper not working (havent checked the fuse or anything yet, heres hoping!) And the cigarette lighter not working (seems to be a common fault! Will take it to auto electrician to have it replaced, anyone done this/know what its likely to cost?)

Loving the drive so far, thinking of a good way to install my old samsung s5 into the top cubby in the dash though, will post up when i get think of something good

I had a tought of getting a tablet in the top lid and link it with the torque app and carista dongle for the gauges

Iv been thinking about torque (or an equivalent) on there.

Saw a post after a search on here a guy had done it with velcro, as its a permenant addition for me (old phone no longer in use) im thinking maybe attach it both ends so it will fold down when i close the lid and visa versa. Havent tried it yet, theory seems sound though.
