Nothing showing on my 40k vRS TDi either

I've been to the dealer about this and it seems like it is a known fault with certain batches apparently.

Good news Willo.

Looks like JPH was right hey Sweeperman... ;)

Its not replaced, like other known issues doesnt mean theyll sort it for free :) everyone hopes for the best tho, no one wants anyone to pay for anything if they can avoid it.

I want my money back, that's a dual exhaust, I've only got one exhaust each side

There is a fake outlet the other side on the MK3 vRS TDI which is a bit disappointing  :x . Much more impressive to see exhaust on a cold morning coming from both sides like the TSI  :envy:

Mind you it is prob just another one of the VW groups back boxes too keep costs down.

Is the exhaust out of alignment rather than the metal outlet trim?

Apparently the exhaust is out of alignment (slightly up) which causes this issue. The dealer shown me a photo with a hole in the back where it had burnt through the bumper!
