Push button so you can drop the rear seats?

Isn't there a lever to drop the rear seats anyway

What's the advantage of a button over a lever?

Maybe its remove yhem completely? With the older design it was a (tiny) bit of a fiddly pita to remove the seat backs. And the middle seat belt always caused grief.. maybr they have made it easier?

I might be wrong here but it sounds the same as what I have in my Mazda6, you have the buttons as normal on the seats but you have a pair of levers that allow you to drop the seats from the boot - looking at the Octavia pictures on Parkers, there's release buttons in exactly the same place:

That's just a guess though and probably best asking on the Octavia forums.

If it is that feature and you use the full load space, I think it's a great feature - I mostly use the car for carrying the bike and it's great just being able to open the boot, hit the releases and slide the bike in,.
