Hi I have a pretty basic octavia se.

 

It has the manual aircon but under the push buttons are little black buttons, what do they do.

 

Also am I correct in assuming that the manual air con doesn't show up on the bolero screen

Just blanking caps for when optional equipment isn't fitted to the car

No the manual aircon controls won't show up on the stereo screen.

 

As for the blanks I only have ASR and TPMS buttons and of course the airbag deactivation light but other options include front parking sensors activation button but can't think of anything else. There seem to be a lot of blank spaces but surely there aren't enough options available to fill them all!?

There is also a trunk open button available to fill the gap if you want

Or the facelift also got a separate park assist button rather than just parking sensors, if you have it enabled
