Anyone trade their vRS in at Ingram Skoda, Ayr?

Love steel grey,if your tempted you should go take it for a spin

I've already got one (a vRS - red), so a test drive wouldn't be needed - it's just that I've had an itch for an anthracite / grey car for some time.

Brian i can take it for a spin on Monday if you do not get a chance yourself.

PS.

They are already sitting with the 2 higher mileage vRS, but you never know they might be interested in yours with the low mileage.

Personally i think you would be better to go get yours wrapped in Metallic Grey, save money, and better the devil you know.

PPS

Colour matches my new bike...

Oh aye, better the   you know with a vRS

Stick a private plate on it, if the '13' bothers you :)

Agree - great colour.

Ingrams asking price is a wish and a dream on their part.

But then it depends on what they quote as the 'price to change', ie what they offer you,

and if they are doing a 12 month warranty with it.

You only find out by asking them.

They will be wanting to make a sale anyway.

The only thing i wonder about that car is if it was one a member had that they had issues with when collecting at an Edinburgh Dealership.

(But i think that CTHE was written off so probably not it.)

Do all 'Skoda approved' (if there is such a thing...) used cars not come with a 12-month warranty? This used to be the case with VW, so I assumed they did, but assumptions are dangerous.

Skoda Approved Used Cars come with the 12 month Warranty, if it is a Skoda Approved one.

Some early CTHE are a bit suspect before the Engine Management was revised again.

They have the Red vRS for sale but i do not see an age on it.

If you get a chance have a look in.

The sales people are rather fun, never heard of issues with Oil Users or the likes,

yet they have sold a few and even had to have engines replaced in ones....

Even failed and had to have new ECU's supplied.

The other two they've got for sale don't appear to be on Auto Trader. I noticed there's a vRS for sale near your manor, George (a green one in Carnoustie).

I am presently south in Sunny South Ayrshire.

There is a White vRS Estate in the Merc Dealership in Perth, not sure if this is the one on a 3rd engine.

Blue vRS cheap as well on horrible alloys.

So many of the 60 vRS in Autotrader happen to be in Scotland.

I saw the blue one - the alloys are very nasty!
